Inman News provides brokers, agents, consumers and industry insiders with the latest from the real estate industry.  Inman News is a great site for consumers, agents, or anyone interested in relevant and fresh real estate news.


Realtor,com is the official site of the National Association of Realtors® and offers an abundance of information about real estate.


The Washington Center For Real Estate Research, sponsored by Washington State University, provides a wide range of useful and understandable real estate information, analysis, and knowledge using academic methods in practical context while reporting findings in common language.  Be sure to check out the housing market snapshot featured in the upper right of the home page.

Curious what's happening in the Washington real estate market?  Contact your ALLEN agent, or check out the most recent real estate statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.  The multiple listing service is one of the most effective tools to market your property.  ALLEN Realtors® are subscribers to the NWMLS and if you list your property ALLEN Realtors® it will be included in the NWMLS database.

The State of Washington has a Residential Landlord-Tenant Act which defines the minimum duties of landlords and tenants of residential dwellings.  These laws also impose certain restrictions and provide remedies if one party fails to carry out a duty.  The remedies include eviction, reduced rent, self-help repairs, the right to sue for money damages, and an award of attorneys' fees to the successful party.  Generally, the provisions of the act may not be waived by the landlord or tenant.   ALLEN Realtors® manage hundreds of rental properties.  We like to think that we take the hassle out of owning investment property.
