George McGilliard is an active Realtor and Associate Broker of ALLEN Realtors®. He is a third-generation Realtor® after his Grandfather and Uncle. He has been a full time professional real estate agent since 1974.
He served as the 2006 President of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors®. He currently sits as one of two Tacoma directors on the TPCAR board. He is a member of the Washington Realtors® and will serve as the 2008- 2009 chair of the WR Legislative Steering Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors®. In recognition of his participation in and dedication to these Realtor associations and his years of service to the Pierce County community, George has been admitted to the Realtor® Honor Society from its inception through 2007.
Mr. McGilliard holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English, Speech and Music (Albion College) and a Master of Arts in Communication (the University of Michigan). He has earned the Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) and the Certified Residential Broker (CRB) real estate designations.
He rounds out his life as a respected theatre person, directing and acting as often as time allows. And he avidly gardens, cooks, bakes and reads in the quiet hours and times.
